I saw this jacket a while ago and as cool as I thought it was, $300 for a blinged out jacket was a bit too much. So when I saw this affordable version, I was like, DING DING DING! I could bling this out myself! So I did. 

Steps are simple. Get yourself some applique flowers. I grabbed mine from M&J Trimmings and had some beads laying around. Amazon is a great place for that, so is Michaels. Anyhoo, just arrange the pattern you want, secure it with a safety pin and make it sew (see what I did there? Trekkie for LIFE!). As military jackets tend to be a bit more masculine, I think bringing in a bit of feminine strikes a nice balance. Happy sewing!
