For a while, I didn't eat any pig products. Recently though, I've discovered a secret - it's absolutely delicious. As such, I realized that there is a vast majority of food combinations that I've been missing it out on. First order of business was to try Spaghetti Carbonara. My S.O. showed me this video, substituting guanciale with some pancetta because that's all that we could find and adding peas for a bit of sweetness. 15 minutes later, we were enjoying the deliciousness that is carbonara.
